Hello PTA Families!

There are so many things going on this month it makes me tired just looking at the calendar!!

Saturday, May 5th: The 4th Annual Wildcat 5K kicks off at 9AM  Here is the link for more information: http://eqwellness.org/2012/01/04/wildcat_5k/


Wednesday, May 9th: PTA meeting 7pm  Mrs. Koltzan's room.  We have lots to talk about and to vote on.  Hope to see you there!


Friday, May 11th: Mother's Day Sale-  the children will visit the sale with their classes during the day.  We have plants and trinkets priced from $1-$15 available for all the special ladies in your child's life. Also if you pre-ordered flats they can be picked up between 9AM-3PM.


Friday, May 11th: The Harlem Wizards are coming to WHB!  I have attached a flier from the WH Rotary Club regarding this fun event.  You may see some familiar faces playing against the Wizards!  Come on down for hoops and alley-oops!


Tuesday, May 15th:  BUDGET VOTE!!!!  7AM-9PM  If our school budget does not pass there will have to be devastating cuts made to our children's educational programming!  Please come vote and encourage your friends and neighbors to come too!  EVERY vote counts!!


Tuesday, May 15th:  The Halsey Stevens Walk to School Day   If you live too far to walk to school the Village Green is a great place to park your car and walk the rest of the way!  Be sure to have your kids fill up their "Go Green" water bottles to keep hydrated on their walk!  :)

Thursday, May 17th:  New Kindergarten Parent Night 7PM  If you know anyone who has an incoming Kindergartener please pass the info on!


Friday, May 18th: Teacher/Staff Appreciation Breakfast 8AM


Monday May 21st - Wednesday, May 23rd:  Kindergarten Screening
